*NOTE* At this time, due to COVID-19 restrictions, all SCDSB schools/buildings are closed to visitors, including volunteers.
Although volunteers are unable to be in schools at this time, the completion of the Annual Offence Declaration is still a requirement. The Annual Offence Declaration is to be completed on-line through the Volunteer Portal. Please log into your Volunteer Portal through your Community Apps Account to complete and submit your Annual Offence Declaration. The due date for completion of the on-line offence declaration through the volunteer portal is Monday, November 23, 2020.
In accordance with Policy No. 3250 – Volunteers in Schools, and Administrative Procedures Memorandum A7220, Volunteers in Schools, volunteers are required to complete an Annual Offence Declaration for Volunteers, after providing the original Criminal Background Check/Vulnerable Sector Screening. Current volunteers who do not submit an Annual Offence Declaration by the deadline will be removed from the approved volunteer list, and will be required to submit a new Criminal Background Check/Vulnerable Sector Screening for review prior to volunteering again.
The due date for submission is Monday, November 23, 2020.
